Program Overview
Fostering a love of God and a love for learning in our youngest students.
Preschool (age 3) The Preschool curriculum provides the structure and guidance children need to grow in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. Children engage in multi-disciplinary experiences to explore and learn about the world around them. They are introduced to literacy and numeracy readiness exercises through the Opening the World of Learning (OWL) Language Arts Curriculum. The Math Shelf Program is introduced at this level enabling students to develop their understanding of Math skills. Free play and discovery is also an important part of their day. Activities include: art, music/singing and physical education.
PreKindergarten (age 4) This program is academically focused and based on developmentally appropriate practices that build upon the skills learned in our Preschool program. We use the OWL Curriculum to continue working on the identification and formation of letters and numbers and Math Shelf to develop math skills. Students also begin learning Spanish. Free play and discovery is also an important part of their day. Activities include: art, library, music/singing, physical education, field trips and guest readers.
