ELEMENTARY

Program Overview

Mission-driven and nurturing with a focus on the whole child.

Kindergarten (age 5)

Based on the guidelines of developmentally appropriate practice from the Catholic Schools Office of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, this program focuses on the whole child to promote growth in the areas of fine and gross motor development, language skills, social-emotional development, fine arts skills, and self-help skills. The KIBO Robotics Program is introduced at this level enabling students to learn about coding and technology.

Grade 1 - Grade 5 Curriculum

Students pursue a rigorous course of study in the core curriculum consisting of exceptional academic and faith formation programs. The core of our elementary programming sets the foundation for advanced study at the middle school and high school levels. Daily instruction is offered in religion, language arts, handwriting, mathematics, social studies, science and Spanish.

Along with a challenging academic program, students take classes in art, physical education, library and digital media, music, Second Step Curriculum, and instructional technology.
