OVERVIEW OF APPLICATION PROCESS
There are three easy steps:

1. APPLY ONLINE:  Requirements for each grade are also listed below.  

2. Teacher Recommendation,  Discipline Record Release Form & Transcript Release (Kindergarten ~ Grade 8, only): Applicants in Kindergarten ~ Grade 8 must submit a teacher recommendation (link in online application), discipline release form and a official transcript. Details regarding submission are available on our online application.

3. Screening*: Students entering Preschool ~ Grade 8 are required to participate in a screening and academic assessment** prior to admission to Saint Paul School.  Screening results are the property of Saint Paul School and will not be released upon completion. Upon completion of an application*, applicants will be invited to join us for the required** screening on the following dates: 

PRESCHOOL - PREK 
KINDERGARTEN
GRADE 1 - GRADE 2:

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2023
(20-45 minute morning time TBD)


Students entering Preschool (3 yo), PreKindergarten (4 yo), Kindergarten will particiate in a 30-minute academic assessment/screening and meeting with the Classroom Instructor or member of our Admissions Committee.  
Students entering  Grade 1 and Grade 2 will particiate in a 50-minute academic assessment/screening** and meeting with the Classroom Instructor or member of our Admissions Committee.

GRADE 3 - GRADE 8 
"IMAGINE DAY" 
9:00a - 12:30p:

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2022
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2023

We invite students entering Grades 3-8 to join us for a morning to "imagine" you are a Saint Paul School student.  Your visit will include a greeting from the Director of Enrollment or Principal, an academic assessment/screening**, the opportunity to attend class with a buddy in the grade you will be  matriculating with. lunch and recess.  Admissions will share a visit day itinerary with applicant families upon submission of an application and the week prior to the selected visitation day. 

*After February 10th, we will conduct the required screenings for applicants as seats become available in classes. A member of our admissions team will follow-up to confirm a mutually convenient time/ date.

**If your student is transferring from another Catholic elementary school and standardized testing scores from Stanford 10 or NWEA Map testing are submitted with their application, no academic assessment will be required.

With ALL applications, parents or guardians must submit:

☐ Non-refundable application fee of $75

☐ Copy of student’s Birth Certificate

☐ Copy of student’s Baptismal Certificate (if baptized)

☐ Updated Health Records


Applications to Preschool, PreKindergarten  and Kindergarten also include:

☐ Current academic transcript / report card / progress report (if available)

☐ Confirm the screening date 


Applications to Grade 1 ~ Grade 8 also include:

☐ Copy of current academic transcript / report card / progress report (upload to online application)

☐ Copy of recent standardized testing scores (if completed - - upload to online application)

☐ Discipline Record Release Form (request current school to complete and send to SPS)

☐ Teacher Recommendation Form (submitted online by current teacher)

☐ Confirm a screening date (parent selects online)
